I'm just dropping a tiny screencrap of what I'm working on right now! It's, as some of you might recognize, a terran ghost intended as a "sequel" to my terran medic drawing. It will be close to a full-body shot, and it should feature even more detail and textures than any of my previous works so far.
I'm using a lot of references from blizzard's trailers and concept art for Starcraft. I intend for it to be filled with details regarding the starcraft universe (such as the background, or the markings on the armor)
So far I'm 25 hours into it, and it's perhaps 40% complete. Since I'm a full-time engineering student, I can only progress in my spare time, and I can't say there's a lot of that available... So I hope to be done before the end of the semester!
Hope you like the sneak peek!

That looks incredible, really. I envy your devotion to your artistic endeavor - as creative and artistic as I feel, I don't really have the necessary skill to put myself into a project like this. I have met other artists and they are really all devoted to their craft like any noble artisan. Maybe someday I'll learn to draw something that isn't just 'okay' and will amaze others, but until then I have to get all the bad drawings out - all 945,837,212,045,113 of them. I have the proper decency not to show them to anyone, so you can thank me for that, ha!

Thank you for your kind words :)
I have never forced myself to draw, for it is usually something I do in my spare time or when I need to relax. That way, it doesnt really feel like I'm devoted to art! You are absolutely right by wanting to avoid showing your drawings... I very rarely showed my stuff until near the end of high school. Just wasnt confident enough. Drawing is a game of practice, and it's also a very personnal thing. Your approach towards improving can be guided through peer feedback, but I have always preferred rectifying thing myself!
Keep practicing, and confidence will grow!!
